The Victron SmartShunt 500A is an all-in-one battery monitor and acts as a 'fuel gauge' to keep a check on the performance of your battery or battery bank. However, unlike Victron's BMV range of monitors that have a permanent display, your smartphone becomes the display. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to your smartphone and, using the Victron Connect app, you can conveniently view all monitored battery parameters including voltage, current draw, Ah consumed, % charge level, 'time-to-go', historical information and much more.

The SmartShunt is a great option where space is limited or where a less cluttered installation is preferred and provides a lower cost alternative to the Victron BMV-712 Smart for those who like the bluetooth connectivity but don't want or need a permanent display.

The shunt is fitted in-line with the leisure/house battery's negative cable, the starter/auxiliary battery's negative cable is connected to the shunt's output and fused +ve supplies are taken from each battery into the shunt's 2 inputs. As an alternative to monitoring the voltage of a 2nd battery, the shunt's 2nd/auxiliary input can be used for temperature monitoring (requires optional temperature sensor) or midpoint monitoring. The information from the SmartShunt can also be displayed on a GX device by connecting with a VE.Direct cable.

If a package is returned to Leisure Warehouse because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the carriage is not refundable.

Free Delivery Conditions

Delivery Address must be mainland UK.
Delivery will be sent on a 72 hour courier service.
This does not include bank holidays and some days over the Christmas period.
The "Daily Offer Special Price" products are not included in the free delivery offer.
Please note that we can only send one package free of charge. If you order more than one item and your order qualifies for free delivery, in the unlikely event that we do not have stock of any of your items, we will wait until all items are in stock before sending your order.
If your initial order is over the required value, but you decide subsequently to cancel a product off the order which brings the total cost of the order below the required value, then we reserve the right to charge shipping on that order.

The prices quoted are for the packing & postage of the items.

The following Scottish Postcodes: AB31-56, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE) will incur an extra charge of £5.00 per order including those over £100. Delivery of bike racks and some other heavy items to remote postcodes including the above will incur a charge of £24.

Delivery to NI may vary, please enquire for details before ordering or your order may be cancelled.

Returns

Returns are accepted for faulty or wrongly delivered items for which a refund will be granted on receipt of the returned items. We also apply a returns policy in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for Distance Selling.

In line with current distance selling regulations customers are able to return an unused item at any time within 14 days of receipt (cancellation of an order). Please note that returns are not available for items outside the 14 day cooling off period unless the product is faulty. Return postage will be at the buyer's expense for unwanted items, you can use the carrier of your choice.

Please notify us of returns by email beforehand so we can confirm. Should items be returned without notification or after the returns period a restocking fee will apply of 20% of order value.
